For the past four years, we’ve set out to enhance the live experience of McDonald’s Worldwide Convention, in partnership with Kindle Communications. Each year poses new challenges—this year we collaborated to design and develop three interconnected, interactive platforms to connect tens of thousands of event goers. And this year, our work won gold.

Our 2018 McDonald’s WorldWide Convention app won Gold for Best Event App at the 2018 Experience Design & Technology Awards, held at EventTech in Las Vegas.

We are honored to receive this award, and so proud to continue our partnership with Kindle Communications. We collaborated across teams and strategies to deliver some of our best work yet. The app leveraged real-time data from users to personalize the experience, encourage interaction, and enhance the overall convention. We created a platform that put the WorldWide event experience in the palm of attendees’ hands.
